Delete your personal data or your account.

If you want to remove your personal data, you can:

Search for and remove certain personal data. We have provided you with a series of tools that will help you delete certain personal data. For example, you can use the Delete button to remove books from the shelf. You can remove the comments by clicking the Delete button. Once the comments are removed, other users will not be able to see them anymore.

Remove your account permanently. You can contact us by email at support@iNovelplay.com to ask for your account to be removed. Once your account is removed, we will no longer supply you with any products or services. We will remove your personal data at your request, except as otherwise required by law. We will help you to remove your account data and delete your payment records for unlocking chapters. If you permanently remove your account, you cannot reactivate it, and you cannot retrieve your reading, spending, or unlocking records, including the balance of your top-up voucher.

How long does it take to delete your personal data?

The time required for deletion varies; for example, deleting your personal data is instantaneous and will be removed immediately. Deleting the account must not last more than 15 days from the date of receipt of the request. If you do not like it, please contact the customer service department and complain.

You can use Personal Center to view your personal data or click "Me" - " Help & Feedback." You can inquire, correct, delete, cancel user account, and revoke authorized user's operation by contacting the client. For safety reasons, you might want to submit a written request or some other way to prove your identity. You may be required to confirm your identity before you proceed with your application.

A reply will be sent to you within 15 working days. If you don't like it, feel free to contact customer service to complain.

7. Age Restrictions

Novelplay is not for children under 12. Users aged 12-18 must have parent or guardian permission to use the service and use an account established by their parent or guardian. Parents are responsible for any use of the service by their teen. Contact us if you believe we have collected data from a child under 12.

8. Data Retention Time

We retain your data for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the service or fulfill the transactions you have requested or authorized. Where we do not need your data in order to provide the service to you, we retain it only for so long as we have a legitimate business purpose in keeping such data, including to comply with our legal obligations, enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, and as necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

You can delete your Account, and you should understand that upon deletion of your Account, you will lose the right to access or use all or part of the Platform. After you have deleted your account, we may retain certain data in an aggregated and anonymized format.

9. Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions

If you choose to use Novelplay, your use and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Policy, including limitations on damages, resolution of disputes, and application of the law of Hong Kong.

This is an agreement between you and Novelplay.com (with its affiliates, "Novelplay" , " we " or " us "). Please read these Novelplay Terms of Service, the Novelplay.com Privacy Policy, and the other applicable rules, policies, and terms posted on the Novelplay.com website or the Novelplay Store or provided with any Service (collectively, this " Agreement ") before purchasing or using any aspect of the Service. By using the Novelplay Store purchasing or using any Novelplay Content, using any Novelplay Application, or using any aspect of the Service, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not accept the terms of this Agreement, then you may not use the Novelplay Store, any Novelplay Content, any Novelplay Application or the Service.

For the purposes of this Agreement:

"Content Provider" means the party offering Novelplay Content in the Novelplay Store, which may be us or a third party.

"Novelplay Application" means software we make available that permits users to shop for, download, browse, or use the Novelplay Store or Novelplay Content on a Supported Device.

"Novelplay Content" means digitized content obtained through the Novelplay Store, such as books, newspapers, magazines, and other content.

"Novelplay Store" means our stores, on Novelplay Applications and on our website, the homepage of which is located at Novelplay.com.

"Subscription Content" means Novelplay Content made available for access only for so long as you remain an active member of a subscription or membership program, such as Novelplay Prime.

"Service" means the provision of the Novelplay Store, Novelplay Content, Novelplay Application, and support and other services that we provide Novelplay Store, Novelplay Content, and Novelplay Application users.

"Supported Device" means a mobile, computer or other supported electronic device on which you are authorized to operate a Novelplay Application.

1. Novelplay Content

Use of Novelplay Content. Upon your download or access of Novelplay Content and payment of any applicable fees (including applicable taxes), the Content Provider grants you a non-exclusive right to view, use, and display such Novelplay Content an unlimited number of times, (for Subscription Content, only as long as you remain an active member of the underlying membership or subscription program), solely through a Novelplay Application or as otherwise permitted as part of the Service, solely on the number of Supported Devices specified in the Novelplay Store, and solely for your personal, non-commercial use. Novelplay Content is licensed, not sold, to you by the Content Provider. The Content Provider may include additional terms for use within its Novelplay Content. Those terms will also apply, but this Agreement will govern in the event of a conflict. Some Novelplay Content, such as interactive or highly formatted content, may not be available to you on all Novelplay Applications.

Limitations. Unless specifically indicated otherwise, you may not sell, rent, lease, distribute, broadcast, sublicense, or otherwise assign any rights to the Novelplay Content or any portion of it to any third party, and you may not remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels on the Novelplay Content. In addition, you may not attempt to bypass, modify, defeat, or otherwise circumvent any digital rights management system or other content protection or features used as part of the Service.

Risk of Loss. Risk of loss for Novelplay Content transfers when you download or access the Novelplay Content.

2. Use of the Novelplay Applications. You may use the Novelplay Applications only on Supported Devices. For additional terms that apply to the Novelplay Applications, see the terms contained in the Legal or similar section in the Settings menu of your Novelplay Application.

3. General

Information Provided to Novelplay. The Novelplay Application will provide Novelplay with information about use of your Novelplay Application and its interaction with Novelplay Content and the Service (such as last page read, content archiving, available memory, up-time, log files, and signal strength). Information provided to Novelplay may be stored on servers outside the country in which you live. We will handle any information we receive in accordance with the Novelplay.com Privacy Policy.

Information Provided to Others. You are responsible for any information you provide to others using the Service. Use of information you provide to these third parties will be subject to any privacy policy or other terms that they may provide to you.

Termination. Your rights under this Agreement will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. In case of such termination, you must cease all use of the Service, and Novelplay may immediately revoke your access to the Service without refund of any fees. Novelplay's failure to insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of any of its rights.

Changes to Service; Amendments. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, including adding or removing Subscription Content from a Service, at any time without notice. We may amend any of this Agreement's terms at our sole discretion by posting the revised terms on the Novelplay.com website. Your continued use of the Novelplay Application or any aspect of the Service after the effective date of the revised Agreement terms constitutes your acceptance of the terms.

Disputes/Binding Arbitration. Any dispute or claim arising from or relating to this Agreement or the Service is subject to the binding arbitration, governing law, disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability. You agree to those terms by entering into this Agreement, using the Novelplay Store, purchasing or using Novelplay Content, or using any aspect of the Service.

Limitation of Liability. Without limiting the Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability in the Agreement (1) in no event will our or our software licensors’ total liability to you for all damages (other than as may be required by applicable law in cases involving personal injury) arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the Novelplay Application exceed the amount of CDN$ 50.00; and (2) in no event will our or any other Content Provider's aggregate liability to you for all damages arising from your use of the Service (excluding the Novelplay Application) exceed the amount you actually paid for the Novelplay Content or for the aspect of the Service related to your claim for damages. These limitations will apply to you even if the remedies fail of their essential purpose.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Novelplay services and all information, content, materials, products (including software) and other services included on or otherwise made available to you through the Novelplay services are provided by Novelplay on an "As is" And "As available" Basis, unless otherwise specified in writing. Novelplay makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Novelplay services, or the information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through the Novelplay services, unless otherwise specified in writing. You expressly agree that your use of the Novelplay services is at your sole risk.

To the full extent permissible by law, Novelplay disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Novelplay does not warrant that the Novelplay services, information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through the Novelplay services, Novelplay's servers or electronic communications sent from Novelplay are free of viruses or other harmful components. To the full extent permissible by law, Novelplay will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of any Novelplay service, or from any information, content, materials, products (including software) or other services included on or otherwise made available to you through any Novelplay service, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages, unless otherwise specified in writing.
